Working as an Admin Assistant in Glasgow is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door in some of the fantastic companies that call Glasgow home.

Admin Assistants are primarily responsible for general administrative and clerical support. Jobs include, filing documents, photocopying, typing up and printing documents for a variety of staff, managing calendars, performing data entry and scheduling meetings. Other tasks are dependent on the office and company's current needs but can include buying office equipment. You may also need to operate the phone system for the office and answer any client queries.

To succeed as an Admin Assistant you need to be very motivated and organised and be able to juggle a plentiful workload in terms of priorities. You often need knowledge of office management systems and excellent computer skills. You will be working with other members of staff including Office Managers and may need to liaise with Secretaries when necessary. You must also have impeccable communication skills and be able to work quickly and accurately.

As an Admin Assistant in Glasgow, you can expect to earn between £16,000 and £19,000 per year, making it an ideal first step in a company and a great first career step.
