As a Recruitment Trainee in Leeds you will work closely with Recruitment Executives to learn how to act as an intermediary between clients and potential candidates for open positions. A Recruitment Trainee will help to facilitate interviews between the employer and candidate, monitor applications, and assist in gathering references.

You should have good organisational skills and be able to communicate clearly and professionally via phone and email. As you are one of the first points of contacts between a company and a candidate, you should have a professional demeanour and answer queries in a timely fashion. General office work is required for this role, as is some database management and assistance with obtaining references and background information on applicants.

You can expect to make on average £37,500, and sometimes can make commission if working in a recruitment agency. Those with a background in Business or Communications will do well in this role. You can also try searching in Birmingham if Leeds does not turn up a position you like!
