Berlin/Hamburg, 7th December 2017 – InsurTech has been a hot topic in Britain as of recent times. According to Accenture, Britain saw a record total investment of £218m in InsurTech in the first half of 2017 – more than double the amount invested in the whole of Europe combined in the same period. However, Brexit nerves and competition from the United Kingdom’s European counterparts have posed a threat to the UK’s position on the global insurance scene. Considering this, job meta-search engine Joblift analysed the UK’s InsurTech job market, comparing it to both the traditional insurance industry, and the InsurTech market in Britain’s major competitor Germany.
Joblift is meta search engine for currently more than 1,000,000 jobs from over 100 partner job boards. Joblift’s customised search filters and email notifications allow users to personalise their search criteria. The company was founded in 2015 by Lukas Erlebach and Malte Widenka. At the two locations in Hamburg and Berlin, Joblift currently employs a team of around 50 employees.
