Controllers are vital in ensuring the smooth running of an Accounting and Finance team. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts department of a company. To do this your day-to-day tasks would include; checking the books, producing accounts, presenting to management and providing responses to customer and business issues. You may work alongside Actuaries and Accountants.

On the other hand, as you will be responsible for reporting to managers and clients, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to present complex information in a simpler way.
