Common tasks to be performed include taking care of the manufacturing schedule between different departments in the company, prioritising work orders and customer orders, and expediting specific aspects of the production process. The position shares some of the responsibilities of a Supply Chain Manager, and there is even some aspects of a Quality Manager that would fall under the scope of a Production Coordinator. There is also a supervisory role to the position as well, as you would be responsible for overseeing the assistants and making sure employees working in production are completing their assigned tasks. Previous experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field will go a long way in securing a position as a coordinator
