Meet Polina, a working student for PR and content marketing at Joblift and a ray of sunshine. She loves Chow Chows, chocolate and cuddling the dog, Biggie, that occasionally makes an appearance in the office!
How long have you worked at Joblift?
I have worked here for 6 months now, time is really flying by!
What is your favourite perk of working at a startup?
I think it definitely has to be that I am able to work from anywhere. I can really work where it suits me best, whether that be the main office, at home, or even a local coffee shop. It helps boost my motivation, and the flexibility is great. I have the option to work from somewhere different every day, and as long as you get your work done no one cares. It makes every day different and exciting… although maybe now I spend too much of coffee!
What is your favourite thing about living in Berlin?
Berlin really is the cultural centre of Germany, which means that there is a huge variety of food and endless opportunities to try new things. So I think really my favourite thing here would have to be the food, hands-down. You can go from Asain to Syrian to the classic German cuisine just by walking down the street, whatever you’re craving you can get. There is something to suit everyone, which I love.
What do you like best about working at Joblift?
Honestly, it would have to be the unique working environment. There is a great balance of both work and fun, there is never a dull moment. Also, there are so many opportunities for learning, I get to take on lots of different tasks, which allows me to develop and enhance my skills and my CV, which is always a plus!
