Job profile – Finance Officer

Working in the financial department of companies, Finance Officers, or Controllers, are engaged with the basic record keeping for company accounts, preparing balance sheets and processing invoices in order to maintain accounting, financial and personnel services to meet legal requirements. Such candidates should have a degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance to prove exceptional numerical and analytical ability and prior experience with MS Excel is also desirable.

Requirements for being a successful Finance Officer

Due to the nature of the work involved with being a Finance Officer, candidates are expected to be hard working as well as efficient and thorough. You should be able to work proactively to deliver and develop accounting and financial services to meet requirements. Ideally you will be passionate about working with numbers and data, also be prepared to be responsible for financial procedures. A solid knowledge of accounting and financial regulations is also expected.
