Job profile – Junior Controller

Junior Credit Controllers are great roles if you want to start taking the steps to pursue a career in Finance and can lead to Controller positions with large salaries and lots of responsibilities. As a Junior Credit Controller you will be expected to assist the Controllers in chasing via telephone, uploading invoices, running credit checks and any other ad-hoc tasks that the Accounting team require.

Requirements for being a successful Junior Controller

Junior Credit Controllers are under a lot of stress in their role and often have to report into a variety of managers and clients so in order to succeed in this position you will need to work well under pressure and be able to handle stress effectively. Although this is a Junior position, many companies require Junior Credit Controllers to have around 6 months of credit control experience and be numerically and analytically excellent.
