Working in quality management requires a very unique set of skills that prospective employers would like to see. Being meticulous when combing over product reports and setting standards and procedures is a vital component to the job, as is monitoring and overseeing production efficiency. Requirements for being a successful Quality Manager

A quality manager must always have self-confidence. He must be sure of what he is doing. If this trait is not developed, there would always be a fear of taking risks or making hard decisions when a problem arises. A good professional must have patience with the people and processes he or she is dealing with. If you take the time to communicate with the people involved about the processes and products you are dealing with, this leads to better customer evaluations, which in turn leads to increased productivity of the team. Communication and patience are qualities that go hand in hand.
