Job profile – Tax Executive

This is a role which holds a good deal of responsibility in offering the chance to be in charge of and managing tax compliance, consulting, legislation, audits, litigation, among other individual projects and research, depending on your working environment and company. Your responsibilities will vary according to your level, however you can expect to have influence, if not control, over all tax issues including tax operations and tax technology, as well as state tax functions.

Requirements for being a successful Tax Executive

To be considered for such a role you should ideally come from an Accounting, Finance or Business related degree-background with exceptional numerical ability and strong financial awareness, in order to work with large sets of numbers and interpret and report on this data. Moreover, you will be expected to have the ability to manage information flow in order to keep understanding the direction the company is headed in and additionally the ability to foresee issues and perhaps implement new approaches to handling tax functions. You should be able to think critically and analytically to solve problems efficiently.
